These are questions that are asked by everyone, sometimes questions that linger in your head and don't have the energy to ask anyway but you keep wondering so these questions are made so that they can be answered. remember some have already been answered while some are just yet to be asked and put on here.

The means justify the ends so to speak. Within the ASOIAF universe, your death is brutal and never peaceful. If you do die, we must see a thread of where you actually die and when that does happen your character can not come back as a ghost, this is not a supernatural site.
yes, the north is truly independent and thriving on that. the new king rhaegar targaryen in honor for saving his two children, prince aegon and princess rhaenys targaryen from the clegane's made the north the kingdom of the north in gratitude. he could have put ned stark on the spear like he did with robert baratheon and tywin lannister but he was so grateful for not losing his children that he was grateful instead. The north is the kingdom of the north under the stark royalty rule however that doesn't mean that the bolton's still don't want that seat to be theirs.

In order for him to fit as a Targaryen, the staff decided to give him a name worthy of the targaryen bloodline which is aerion 'jon' targaryen of course, he will be widely known as Prince jon still. the reason that he has bonded to two creatures is because upon his birth he recieved a dragon egg from his father, rhaegar and then when he was five years old he recieved a name day gift from his late uncle, king ned stark in the name of a direwolf and he went on to name it ghost because of its color. jon equally spends time between the two but he still loves spending time in the dragonpit with drogon.
